Club Matches

Club matches are informal gatherings where members and guests share their enthusiasm for the shooting sports. While matches are held throughout the month, the club range day (on the fourth Saturday of each month) features the largest regular gathering of members and a mid-day barbeque. Even if you don’t plan to shoot on the club day, drop by for lunch, to chat, or to admire the latest in shooting gadgets.

SOUTHWEST PISTOL LEAGUE

The Southwest Pistol League, the Practical Shooting division of the Gopher Flats Sportsmen’s Club, is a member of The United States Practical Shooting Association and The Steel Challenge Shooting Association.

TRAP AND SKEET

The Gopher Flats Sportsmen’s Club hosts both Trap and Skeet matches weekly. These are no-pressure, club matches that don’t count toward annual rankings or toward inter-club competitions. So, why not break-out that hunting gun or side-by-side to join other club members in what Hollywood Director John Milius has famously termed “Redneck Golf”?
